Our Breeding Experience

Professionally Trained

My training began with personal hands on training from successful breeders in the industry and my academic training has been through breeding clinics offered by the University of Tennessee and hundreds of hours reading and researching on the subject to be the very best.  My professional experience has been 14 years of professionally breeding Naturally and Artificially for the public.  We are a small business but we are blessed with a wonderful facility where we can take great care of your mare or ship you semen.

Welcome To K & D Stables

We are located in Northern Alabama just 25 miles west of Huntsville, Al.  Horses have been a passion all of my life.  I was raised on a farm and began riding when I was in diapers (they tell me).  Most of my life has been spent breaking, training and raising horses.  Fourteen years ago we opened K & D Stables as a breeding facility.  With the purchase of Marshall Dillon we were instantly on our way.  We have shipped semen all over the states and into Canada.   Doug Ripley
