Coal Miner is the Grandson of the great EZD'S Falcon Rowdy ( view his video )

Coal Miner is beautiful buckskin with perfect black markings and conformation.

Coal Miner is 15 months in these pictures.  He will go under saddle at 21 months (3-08).  He was raised by Ricky Mullins in Clintwood, Virginia and will be trained by Ricky Mullins in those beautiful Virginia Mountains .  Our goal is to show him and later use him as one of our breeding stallions.

He is presently in training with Billy Fell in Phil Campbell, Alabama. Billy has him in his smooth natural four beat gait at all speeds. His bloodlines (Sire: Rowdy Rawhide Dam: Standard Bred Mare) are coming out in this colt's style, heart and ability. This colt will not only have the speed as he matures, he already has an awesome head set and way of going. Be looking for him and Billy at the SHOBA fall ride.

Keep watching this colt for more updated pictures and videos.

Marshall Dillon died on October 26, 2005.  He was 26 years old.  He apparently died of heart failure.  The day prior to his death he played in the paddock like a two year old.  The next morning he ate his grain and when he was turned out he walked out into the middle of the paddock and laid down and without any struggle he was gone.

He will be greatly missed.  For the last ten years he has been owned and loved by Doug Ripley and Terry Smith from Decatur, Alabama.  I am so thankful that his great bloodline has been preserved in his off spring.

The Late Dillon's Geronimo Warrior

++Geronimo died June 16, 2008 of unknown causes. He will be greatly missed, Owner Doug Ripley++

Certified Homozygous Black & White Stallion

Geronimo is the only certified b/w homozygous directly out of "Marshall Dillon".  His Dam is a direct daughter of "Clayton's Geronimo".  He has the natural smooth four beat gait, with or without shoes, that he passes on to his Get.  He is a Gentleman in the breeding barn, in public and on the trails.  His looks turn heads but his gentle, calm behavior wins hearts.
